How To: Manage Spam Filter

Summary:

This article describes how to enable/disable the spam filter and also how to optimise it for best results.

Resolution:

Turning On the spam filter:

  1. Browse to http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel
  2. Enter your FTP username and password
  3. Click OK
  4. Click Spam Assassin
  5. Click Enable Spam Assassin
  6. Click Enable Spam Box
  7. You have now turned on your spam filter.

Turning Off the spam filter:

  1. Browse to http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel
  2. Enter your FTP username and password
  3. Click OK
  4. Click Spam Assassin
  5. Click Disable Spam Assassin
  6. Click Disable Spam Box
  7. You have now turned on your spam filter.

Viewing your blocked spam messages:

  1. Browse to http://webmail.yourdomain.com
  2. Enter your full email address and password
  3. Click OK
  4. Click Read Mail Using Horde
  5. Click Mail on the left or top bar
  6. Click Spam on the left bar
  7. Your blocked spam messages will be displayed.

Note: You should clear your spam filter reguarly.  You can
